Most staff spend a lot of the day outdoors, often by the coast, so the kit has to handle wind and rain as well as summer sun. Kit gets a lot of wear in one season.
Colour-coding a big team
Guests do not know your staff structure. Colour helps: one colour for reception and guest services, another for entertainment, and practical darker kit for maintenance and cleaning. Keep the logo the same everywhere so the park feels joined up.
Name badges or embroidered first names help families feel at home, especially with the entertainment team children will look out for all week.
Wind, rain and caravan changeovers
Changeover day is the hardest. Housekeepers clean dozens of caravans and lodges in a few hours, walking between units in all weathers. Lightweight waterproofs and quick-dry polos help, along with tabards that protect clothes from cleaning products.
Grounds and maintenance teams mow, fix decking and empty bins. They need tougher trousers, safety footwear and warm layers for winter work when the park is closed.
- Reception: smart polo or blouse, fleece
- Entertainment: bright tees and hoodies
- Housekeeping: tabard, polo, light waterproof
- Maintenance: work trousers, softshell, safety boots
Season start and staff turnover
Seasonal teams arrive in spring and leave in autumn. A private online uniform shop lets each department manager order kit for new starters within the rules you set, so you are not chasing sizes by email every March. Set which garments each role gets and how many. Collect fleeces and jackets back at the end of the season, wash them, and reissue to returning staff the following spring.
Where to put your logo
Embroider the park logo on the left chest of polos, fleeces and softshells; it lasts through a full season of washing. For entertainment staff, a printed logo on the back with a role such as ENTS TEAM or KIDS CLUB helps parents spot them across the pool. Use the same logo artwork in a thread colour that suits each department's garment colour. Every design is proofed before stitching.
Ordering for holiday parks and campsites
Most holiday parks and campsites start with workwear polo shirts, branded fleece jackets and waterproof jackets. You can order from one garment and add more as you take people on. The logo price drops at 9 and again at 25 garments, and every garment with a small logo counts towards it, so mixing styles and colours still gets the better price. Before anything is made, we embroider an actual sample of your logo and email you a photo to approve, or you can pop in to our Hull workshop to see it.
