Hi-visibility (hi vis) vests, also known as reflective or fluorescent vests, are worn to make the wearer more visible in low light or hazardous conditions. They are commonly worn by construction workers, traffic controllers, and emergency responders, but they can also be worn by pedestrians and cyclists to increase their visibility to drivers. Hi-vis vests work by reflecting light, especially from vehicle headlights, back towards the source, making the wearer more noticeable in the dark or in foggy or rainy conditions. In some cases, wearing a hi-vis vest may be required by law or employer regulations.
SPECIFICATION
100% Polyester fabric with hook and loop fastening. Two 5cm width reflective tapes around the body and one over each shoulder. Hi-Vis Yellow, Orange, Yellow/Orange conform to EN ISO20471:2013 Class 2. Black, Lime, Navy, Purple, Paramedic Green, Red, Raspberry, Royal Blue Yoke on Hi Vis Yellow conform to EN ISO 20471:2013 Class 1.
