About the Portwest Classic Rain Jacket

The Portwest S440 is a no-nonsense waterproof that keeps teams dry without a big outlay. It is a staple for farms, building sites, marinas, car washes, outdoor events and anyone who needs a spare rain jacket in every van.

The shell is 190T 100% polyester, PVC coated (210g), with taped seams, a vented back yoke with eyelets and a mesh-lined yoke (100% polyester mesh, 45g). It has an inner elasticated cuff, two pockets and a hood that packs away into the collar, and the eco-conscious water-repellent finish makes rain bead off the surface. Portwest rate it EN 343 Class 3:1 X WP 5,000mm. Sizes run XS to 8XL in a generous fit, in Black, Navy, Olive Green, Orange and Yellow. The orange and yellow are bright colours, not certified hi-vis.

Branding advice

Because it is a coated waterproof, we brand it with a heat-pressed print rather than embroidery, so no needle holes let water in. A chest logo plus a large back print works well for staff and event crews.

Care

Follow the Portwest care label and user sheet; do not iron over the print.
