How it works: add it to your basket (with any branded workwear too), then order and pay by bank transfer or card, or send it as a free quote. We check your artwork by hand and email you a digital proof to approve. Nothing is printed until you say yes.

About our block-out banners

Block-out banners have a grey light-stop layer inside, so a bright background or the sun behind the banner never shows through the print.

Choose both sides for banners hung across a road, between posts or over a walkway, where people see them from either direction.

Set your page to the size in the middle column (it includes 5mm bleed on every edge). Our free PDF templates show the finished edge, the bleed, where to keep your words. Open one in Illustrator, InDesign, Affinity or Canva and design on top, or just send us your logo and wording and we’ll design it for you.

Bleed: run your background 5mm past the finished edge. It’s trimmed off, so there are no white slivers.
Keep words in: keep text and logos at least 60mm inside the finished edge.
Resolution: photos at 100 dpi at full size (large prints are seen from further away, so they need less).
Files: a PDF in CMYK is best, with fonts outlined. AI, EPS, high-quality JPG or PNG are fine too. A person checks every file and emails you a proof before we print.

Is it waterproof?

Yes, block-out PVC is made for outdoor use, with reinforced hems and metal eyelets.
