A clear, clinical-but-friendly uniform reassures customers that the advice they get at the counter comes from trained staff. It also separates staff from customers in a busy shop at prescription collection times.
Making the pharmacist easy to find
A customer with a question about a medicine wants the pharmacist. A distinct tunic colour or an embroidered PHARMACIST title under the logo makes them easy to spot behind a busy counter. Technicians and dispensers can wear a separate colour, and counter assistants a polo or blouse.
In consultation rooms for jabs and blood pressure checks, short sleeves help with hand hygiene.
- Pharmacist: tunic in a distinct colour, title embroidered
- Technicians and dispensers: tunic in a second colour
- Counter assistants: polo or blouse
- Delivery drivers: fleece or softshell with logo
Behind the dispensary
Dispensary work is detailed and often fast. Staff reach high shelves, kneel to low drawers and handle trays. Tunics with pockets for pens and labels, and comfortable trousers, help. Avoid loose sleeves that catch on shelving.
Air conditioning around fridges and stores can be chilly, so a fitted cardigan or fleece is worth offering for staff working at the back.
Home delivery drivers
Many pharmacies deliver prescriptions to housebound patients. A branded jacket or fleece tells the patient who is at the door, which matters when handing over medicines. A hi-vis vest is useful for drivers walking from parked cars on dark evenings. Fleeces also keep drivers warm getting in and out of the car all day. Keep the logo on the chest and back so it shows from the path.
Where to put your logo
Embroider the pharmacy logo on the left chest of tunics, polos and knitwear, and stitch roles such as Pharmacist or Technician on the right chest or below the logo. Embroidery looks clinical and lasts well. Independent pharmacies can use their own logo in a colour that ties to the shop sign. For drivers, add a printed logo on the back of jackets. A proof is sent before anything is made.
Ordering for pharmacies
Most pharmacies start with healthcare tunics, women's polo shirts and oxford work shirts. You can order from one garment and add more as you take people on. The logo price drops at 9 and again at 25 garments, and every garment with a small logo counts towards it, so mixing styles and colours still gets the better price. Before anything is made, we embroider an actual sample of your logo and email you a photo to approve, or you can pop in to our Hull workshop to see it.
