Landscaping also sells on looks. Customers trust a crew that arrives in matching branded kit, and a finished patio with your logo-clad team standing on it makes the best photo for your social media.
Knees, slabs and sub-base
Paving and edging mean hours on the knees. Kneepad trousers with proper pad pockets are the single best upgrade for a landscaping crew. Strong fabric matters too: MOT type 1 and broken slab edges wear through cheap trousers fast.
Feet need toe protection when flags, kerbs and sleepers are being lifted. Safety boots with ankle support suit uneven ground, and many landscapers like rigger-style boots that are quick to pull off before walking into a customer's house.
Cutting, dust and noise
Disc cutters on slabs and blocks throw silica dust and chips. Dust suppression, RPE and hearing protection do the real protecting, but safety glasses should always be close to hand. Choose tops that brush off easily and wash well, as cement dust and wet mortar ruin fleecy fabrics.
Keep a spare set in the van for the day the mixer splashes.
Dressing for a full season outside
In summer, a wicking tee or polo, work shorts and a cap keep crews cool on south-facing patios. In autumn and winter, a softshell over a sweatshirt copes with wind and showers, and a proper waterproof jacket earns its place for wet days. Beanies and snoods help on frosty mornings.
Gilets are popular because they keep the core warm while arms move easily for shovelling.
Where to put your logo
Landscapers get seen by neighbours more than almost any trade, so use the back. A large printed or embroidered logo with your phone number or web address across the shoulders of softshells, sweatshirts and tees works like a sign at every job. Put a smaller embroidered logo on the left chest of polos for the customer conversation. Caps and beanies carry the logo in photos. Embroidery handles cement dust and frequent washing better than print on outer layers. We send a proof first so you can check sizing on each garment.
Ordering for landscapers
Most landscapers start with holster and kneepad trousers, safety boots and softshell jackets. You can order from one garment and add more as you take people on. The logo price drops at 9 and again at 25 garments, and every garment with a small logo counts towards it, so mixing styles and colours still gets the better price. Before anything is made, we embroider an actual sample of your logo and email you a photo to approve, or you can pop in to our Hull workshop to see it.
