About the Gildan Ultra Cotton Prepared-for-Dye T-Shirt

A heavy ultra cotton tee supplied prepared for dye, for brands, schools and art projects that plan to dye garments before or after branding. Increased body and sleeve lengths allow for shrinkage, and optical brighteners help dye take evenly. It also makes a sturdy plain base for prints and embroidery. Add your company logo and it becomes smart branded staff wear for everyday use.

It is made from 100% US cotton at 205gsm, with an 18/1 yarn count. It has a classic fit, a seamless body, a tear-away label and taped neck and shoulders. Body and sleeve lengths are increased to accommodate shrinkage, and optical brighteners allow more consistent dye adherence. Available in sizes S to 3XL, in Prepared for Dye.

Branding advice

For bold designs across the chest or back we screen print or apply a DTF transfer, both of which suit the smooth knit. For staff wear, a neat embroidered logo on the left chest gives a more premium finish. Before the full order runs we stitch an actual sample of your logo for you to approve, so you see the real size, colours and position first.

Machine wash cold. Use only non-chlorine bleach. Tumble-dry at low temperature. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.
