About the Craghoppers Expert Basecamp II Softshell Jacket
A heavyweight softshell from Craghoppers' Expert range, the Basecamp II is built for men working outdoors in cold, blustery conditions: offshore and onshore engineers, site managers, groundworkers, outdoor activity instructors and surveyors who want warmth without a bulky coat.
The main fabric is 97% Recycled polyester, 3% Elastane, with the back and trim in 100% Recycled polyester, giving a substantial 520gsm weight. It is water-repellent, wind-resistant and insulating, with an H2OShield durable water-repellent finish that is at least 50% plant-based and PFAS compliant, so it shrugs off rain and water-based stains. Zipped pockets keep tools and phones secure. Sizes run S to 3XL. Craghoppers is an Amfori BSCI member.
Branding advice
The dense face of this softshell takes embroidery beautifully. We suggest a left-chest logo with an optional sleeve or back embroidery for visibility on site. Printing is possible, but note the care label advises not to iron on print, so stitched branding tends to suit it best.

Care
Wash at 30°C on a low spin with similar colours, without bleach, softeners or conditioners. Do not tumble dry or dry clean. Close fasteners first. Cool iron on the outer side if needed, avoiding any print, and apply heat to refresh the water repellency.
